Azbuka Vkusa launched the farmer's office

The Russian network of food supermarkets "Azbuka Vkusa" has launched a farmer's office on the basis of a separate platform. As explained to the editors of "Made in Russia" in the company, this will allow local manufacturers to become suppliers.

"The Farmer's cabinet is a special tool for suppliers that will allow local farmers and artisans to get on our shelves faster. We are the first on the market to create such a tool together with our farmers-suppliers: we listened to their problems and took away some of these concerns, including the requirements of many papers and certificates at the initial stage," Azbuka Vkusa noted.

A potential supplier needs to go to the farm platform of the retail network and apply for the creation of a personal account. It will be automatically sent to the commercial manager of the network.

After the start of cooperation, the retailer creates a farmer profile on av.ru , which will reflect the description of the production, the product, the manufacturer's assortment and its rating based on customer reviews. In the near future, detailed sales analytics will be available to every farmer.

Now the "ABC of Taste" presents about 1000 SKUs of farm products from more than 100 farmers.
