Modern production of road machinery and equipment for half a billion rubles will appear in the Moscow region. The corresponding agreement was signed by the regional Ministry of Investment and the plant of road equipment "Region 45" during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

The new production facility will appear in the Dubna Special Economic Zone. Investments in the project will amount to 500 million rubles.

"The start of construction is scheduled for the third quarter of this year, and completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024. The new enterprise will create 60 jobs for residents of the Dubna city district," said the head of the department Ekaterina Zinovieva.

The implementation of the project will contribute to import substitution in the segment of road construction equipment. Now the main consumers of the plant's products are road construction companies, utilities and municipal utilities, large industrial enterprises and agricultural complexes, as well as objects of the urban environment, the press service of the ministry said.
