The Durer Engineering company will develop import-substituting technologies for processing steel threaded joints on the territory of the Dubna special economic zone near Moscow, Deputy Prime Minister Ekaterina Zinovieva said.

"The company will build a production complex with a total area of more than 3.8 thousand square meters, where more than 40 jobs will be created for residents of Dubna and nearby urban districts. The total investment in the project is estimated at 600 million rubles. The company is implementing an import substitution project in the field of metalworking," she said.

The company will create a zinc-lamellar coating and its application technology, mainly on steel threaded connections. Such coatings perform several functions, the main of which is to provide corrosion protection of metal products.

New technologies and improvements in existing coatings will help extend the service life of metal parts and equipment, in particular steel threaded connections. To date, such technologies have no analogues in Russia.
