In the Moscow region, the construction of a workshop for the maintenance and repair of aircraft power plants has been completed. The enterprise is located on the territory of Sheremetyevo airport, the press service of Glavgosstroynadzor of the Moscow region reported.

"The work of the workshop will ensure the airworthiness of more than 700 engines and 450 auxiliary power plants of aircraft, which is a critical task for the country's transport industry. It is these engines that are equipped with the most popular aircraft in the world - Airbus 320 and Boeing 737," the press service told the TASS news agency.

The launch of the enterprise will create about 300 jobs.
