"It is necessary that what is done in Russia - tests, certification work - be recognized abroad. This is one of our key tasks, and in its implementation we are ready to support such projects," said the Head of Rosstandart at a press conference during the signing of the agreement.

To date, the national brand "Made in Russia" has also been supported by JSC "Federal Corporation for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises" (JSC "SME Corporation"), the Export Insurance Agency of Russia (EXIAR), the Association of Branding Companies of Russia, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

Mikhail Sadchenkov, General Director of the National Brand "Made in Russia": "The state has made a huge leap in measures to support Russian producers and non-resource exports over the past few years, but all these efforts have been focused on financial support. At the same time, special attention should be paid to marketing and promotion of products in the markets as part of the system support. In particular, from 3 to 5% of the funds planned to be allocated for the development of non-raw materials export in Russia in the next 3 years could be directed to the promotion of Russian companies in foreign markets - through direct funding or subsidies and grants".

The procedures will be combined with the provision of data for placement in the catalogue, and the certificate will be issued as soon as it is placed on the "Made in Russia" website.

The corresponding system of voluntary certification will start working from 2017 within the framework of the new national system, the public discussion of which took place on October 19, 2016 in the press center of MIA "RUSSIA SIGNIA".
