n just two years it is planned to digitize more than 200 years of the Bolshoi Theatre's history - posters, programs, sketches, photographs, costumes, i.e. the entire archive of the GABT museum will be available on a special website.

Only a few famous theaters in the world have such projects, among them: Metropolitan, Covent Garden, Paris and Vienna Opera.

At present there is a search for volunteers, who will be given the opportunity to personally touch the history of the theatre, registration for those wishing to open on the official website: www.openbolshoi.ru. In addition to volunteers, several leading companies in the field of digitization of text, images and text recognition will take part in the project.

The Bolshoi Theatre representatives described the project, if implemented, as grandiose or colossal.
