Almost 84 thousand schoolchildren are provided with local milk in the Leningrad region

Since the new school year, the Leningrad Region has provided 83,924 primary school students in the region with local milk. 200 milliliters per day have been allocated for each child, the press service of the regional administration informs TASS.

"83,924 primary school students receive milk. For each child, 200 milliliters of milk per day. Packages of 1 liter are delivered to schools, then they are poured into glasses. Milk is supplied by various enterprises of the Leningrad region," the press service of the region details.The Committee for the Agro-industrial Complex of the region attracted regional producers to participate in the procurement after complaints from parents of students about a low-quality product from suppliers from other regions.

"Since the beginning of the school year in the schools of the region, children receive milk from the regional supplier.
