Moscow parents will no longer have to inform schools that their child will miss classes due to illness. This data will be displayed in the teacher's electronic journal. This is stated in the press service of the government of the capital.

Now private and federal clinics in Moscow will be able to transmit information about the absence of a child due to illness to schools and kindergartens in automatic mode. By September 1, 35 such medical institutions had already joined the program.

"We do a lot for the convenience of our students and their parents. Last year, we canceled paper certificates of illness in city polyclinics, and then organized the same project for private and federal clinics," said Anastasia Rakova, Vice Mayor of the capital.According to her, "parents of a sick child will not need to inform teachers that he will not come to class, this will remove unnecessary worries from their shoulders."

We add that in addition to information about the absence of a student, schools will receive information about the period of exemption from physical education. Paper certificates are no longer required in this case.
