One of the largest wineries in Russia "Fanagoria" plans to expand the geography of exports of its products. Under the conditions of European sanctions, the company intends to enter other markets. This was stated in an interview with the editorial board of "Made in Russia" by the general director of the winery "Fanagoria" Peter Romanishin.

Fanagoria carries out regular export deliveries to different countries of the world. The key importers are China and Kazakhstan. Deliveries, for example, to China amount to about 800,000 bottles per year. Shipments remain at the same level," Romanishin said.Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia announced the leading areas where Russian wine can be in demand - these are the countries of Africa, Latin America, China, the UAE.

Russian wines may also soon be exported to these states.

Fanagoria is considering different regions for export. The countries of Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, of course, are of interest to us because of the large market capacity. And there are prospects for increasing exports in these regions," Romanishin added.According to him, the key task at the moment is to inform distributors about Russian winemaking.

In particular, Romanishin noted that it is possible to promote domestic wines in foreign markets through international events, as well as increasing the volume of advertising, which the Russian authorities can help with.

In addition, duties are an important aspect. When importing Russian wines to foreign markets, it is necessary to pay duties, which directly affects the final cost of products. According to Romanishin, "interstate cooperation can also help with this."
