In Russia, from January 1, 2023, an insurance pension for working pensioners can be indexed. The corresponding draft law was submitted to the State Duma by deputies of the LDPR faction. The document is published in the database of the lower house of Parliament.

As noted in the explanatory note to the bill, the implementation of the initiative will require about 538 billion rubles. If the draft law is adopted, the indexation of working pensioners will be carried out on January 1, 2023.

It should be noted that, according to the Pension Fund of Russia (FIU), as of January 1, 2022, the number of working pensioners in the country was about 7.3 million people.
