An application for remote inspection has been launched in Russia

34

A mobile application has been launched in Russia that will allow inspections to be carried out remotely. Users will be able to sign documents remotely, as well as connect via video conferencing to verification. The project was implemented by the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Finance, according to the official Internet portal of the Republic of Karelia.

As specified in the message, the application is a subsystem of the State Information System "Standard cloud solution for automation of control (supervisory) activities" (GIS TOR KND). The service will allow the control authorities to conduct remote inspections at the facilities of controlled organizations.

"Within the framework of the mobile application, it will be possible to create a special videoconference, through which the controlled organization will be able to independently show the inspector all the objects being checked. In this case, the departure of the inspector to the place becomes optional," the message says. The mobile application will allow organizations to automatically send a notification about the creation of a remote check — controlled enterprises will receive them in the portal of Public Services.

In addition, with the help of the new service, the inspector will be able to use the checklist right during the video conference and mark the compliance or non-compliance of the controlled person with certain requirements.
