In Moscow, the construction of the ZIL station of the Troitskaya metro line has begun. It will be located on the territory of the former ZIL industrial zone in the Danilovsky district of the capital, said Andrei Bochkarev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction.

According to Bochkarev, specialists are currently removing engineering networks from the construction zone and conducting preparatory work. According to the plan, in the future, the lobby of the ZIL station of the Troitskaya metro line will be combined with the Biryulevskaya line station of the same name — this will make it easier for passengers to transfer. Since the new metro station of the capital is being built in the immediate vicinity of the MCC, specialists monitor the railway infrastructure on a daily basis.

The General director of the Mosinzhproekt company added that about 350 specialists are currently involved in the work. They are engaged in the installation of enclosing structures of the pit under the overpass through the MCC and the aboveground pedestrian crossing to the MCC ZIL station. The work is carried out using the "wall in the ground" method — this allows you to lower the soil mass at the facility, the general contractor added.
