The company "Railways of Yakutia", Magadan and Yakutia have agreed to cooperate in the implementation of the project of a new railway line Nizhny Bestyakh-Magadan, according to the official account of the government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in VK.

"The construction of the line will reduce the cost and simplify the year-round transportation of goods to the northern regions, provide 15% of Yakut residents with year-round transport accessibility, and can also create about 8 thousand new jobs," said Aisen Nikolaev.

The corresponding agreement at the Eastern Economic Forum was signed by the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev, the governor of the Magadan region Sergey Nosov and the General director of JSC "AK "Railways of Yakutia" Vasily Shimokhin.
