In 2017, the Astrakhan company "Aquatrade" will send the first consignments of black caviar for export, the execution of all necessary documents has already been completed, said the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of the region Alex Galkin.

The Minister noted that at the moment caviar is sold only in Russia and in the post-Soviet period there were no official supplies abroad.

The volume of black caviar production in the Astrakhan region is constantly increasing, in 2016 it may exceed 13 tons, which is 2 tons more than last year's result.
