The mobile application for coastal fishing Fin ID was developed by specialists of the Center for Fisheries Monitoring and Communication Systems. The service was presented during the V International Fishing Forum and the Exhibition of the Fishing Industry, Seafood and Technologies in St. Petersburg. The app is already available for download in PlayMarket. With its help, foremen can submit information about the extraction (catch) of aquatic biological resources by analogy with the maintenance of a fishing log.

Filling in the information can be done offline, Internet access will be required only for a one-time sending of a data packet. The fields of the log are pre-filled in accordance with the issued permit for the extraction (catch) of aquatic biological resources, which reduces the time for transmitting information. The entered data is sent both to the organization's office, which allows you to control catches for each team and permit, as well as to the Industry Monitoring System.

This will help the Federal Agency for Fisheries to collect information that is now being sent by users of the VBR in accordance with the rules of fishing.
