Turkey and the UN have found options for supplying Russian fertilizers to the global market, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a meeting with compatriots in Los Angeles.

The lifting of sanctions on Russian fertilizers was included in the "food deal" concluded by the parties.

"We are working with the UN in our coordination center (for grain exports - ed.) in Istanbul. All parties are represented there. We have found some options (for bringing Russian fertilizers to the markets, Ed.), the work continues," the Turkish minister said.

Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the UN signed a package of agreements within the framework of the "food deal" on July 22.

In addition, it is planned to lift restrictions on the export of Russian agricultural products, in particular fertilizers.

Later, Moscow said that the deal is not working yet in terms of the sale of exports from Russia.
