Model libraries appeared in Murmansk, Ulyanovsk, Omsk, Irkutsk, Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Astrakhan, Chelyabinsk, Leningrad regions. In the Republic of Crimea, Khanty-Mansky Autonomous Okrug -Yugra and Primorsky Krai.

19 model libraries have been opened as part of the national project "Culture".

Each library welcomes readers with an updated book collection. New furniture and appliances have appeared in the buildings. The opportunities for people with disabilities to visit the institution have been expanded.
