Agrofirma Partner has started the construction of greenhouses for a new seed-growing complex in Kolomna. Up to 1 ton of tomato and pepper seeds will be produced annually at the site. This is reported in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

According to the agency, thanks to this, the Moscow region will be 100% provided with planting material for these vegetables.

"The total investment in the new project will amount to 1.2 billion rubles. The first stage of work has already been completed, according to its results, 100 kilograms of seeds of pepper hybrids of the Pilot and Soyuz varieties were obtained," the release says.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the seeds obtained are resistant to temperature changes, give a good harvest, both in greenhouses and in the open ground.
