Russian company Ural Plant of Special Machinery (UZS) has produced a refrigerated van designed for transportation of perishable products.

The vehicle is designed for transportation of cargoes that require a special temperature regime - for example, medicines, flowers or various food and agricultural products. The transport of such goods requires special temperature conditions that do not allow overheating or overcooling.

Van is a mobile refrigerating-heating unit, but a universal body of zero clearance with the special equipment inside is installed on the chassis.

Carcass of the van is metal, and its external lining is made of sheet steel thickness of one and a half millimeters. The walls and ceiling of the new van are insulated with 60 millimetres foam. The inner lining is made of galvanized steel sheet.

The floor of the van is made of Bakel plywood, insulated with foam polystyrene and covered with aluminium sheets with anti-slip surface. To avoid even the slightest temperature changes, the door openings are trimmed with a high-quality triple seal.

As it is assumed that the new truck will be used not only in cities, but also in rough terrain, a winch is available to overcome marshes and winter roads. As the chassis KAMAZ 43118 was chosen, the cargo modification of which proved to be excellent cross-country ability.
