Russia produced and delivered sets of parts intended for the main circulation pumps of the Czech nuclear power plant (NPP) Dukovany. This is about the rings of the sealing units.

The parts were manufactured by the Central Design Bureau of Machine Engineering, which is part of Rosatom's engineering division, Atomenergomash.

Alexei Kuzmin, the bureau's director of production, said that it took a record-small amount of time - only a month to create the components. This was achieved due to the fact that the system of uninterrupted supply of production was improved.

Manufacturing parts in such a short period, he said, allowed the client to meet the deadline for scheduled NPP repairs.

The manufacturer is engaged in the creation of main circulating pumps that are used in water-water power reactors. The bureau produces components on a permanent basis, as well as assists with design, provides technological support and services NPP pumping equipment not only in our country, but also in other countries.
