Russia exports antiseptics to the Middle East

Russia will supply aerosol disinfectors to several countries of the Middle East at once. The relevant contract was signed in the middle of this month.

In particular, domestic products will be exported to the UAE, Qatar and the Gulf countries.

Arnest's antiseptics will be shipped abroad at the end of next month.

Currently, disinfectants, masks and respirators can be shipped from the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) if there is a confirmation of the relevant authorized body of the EEU member state.

Earlier, head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said that the domestic market is sufficiently saturated with relevant products and, therefore, it is now possible to supply them to other countries. He also noted that Russian companies are holding talks regarding the export of their products designed to combat the coronavirus.

The company "Arnest" is capable to produce about 500 mln sprays and more than 120 mln disinfectants in plastic containers per year.

Earlier, Mikhail Sadchenkov, head of the "Made in Russia" project, also made a proposal to lift the ban on the export of masks outside the EAEU.
