Russia exports anti-drone systems to Central Asia
Russian Concern Avtomatika has started exporting anti-drone systems to Central Asia. This was reported by the company's press service.
The organization said that the concern is also currently discussing the possibility of supplies with five countries, namely India and several states in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
This month, the concern successfully conducted acceptance tests of drone detection and countermeasures systems, which are exported to one of the Central Asian countries, TASS wrote with reference to the press service.
In addition, the company is also negotiating in Russia with divisions including Rosneft, Gazprom and Unipro. To date, the concern has reached an agreement to supply relevant equipment for one of the country's largest oil refineries, Slavneft-YaNOS, and for Tatneft.
At the same time, the new systems have aroused interest on the part of airports, transport companies and security services.
At the end of 2019, Rostec, which includes Avtomatika, presented several complexes at once, the potential customers of which may be the Russian Ministry of Defense, Rosgvardia and Rosneft.
