Several centers have been established in Russia at the same time; their activities are aimed at the production of engines and components for the aviation field.

Thus, four enterprises will produce components of serial and prospective engines for helicopters. The centres have been equipped with various equipment, including numerically controlled machine tools and unique tools for welding and soldering.

According to the media, the centers have already launched and started serial production. They are expected to produce 350 engine sets each year.

The next large scale project is creation of a complex for production of turbine rotors and compressors for aircraft engines. The equipment of this center includes a horizontal stretching machine.

According to the company, the assembly area was put into operation first, followed by the X-ray, fluorescent and ultrasonic control areas.

These projects are being implemented as part of the transformation of the industrial model of the United Engine Corporation, which is part of Rostec.
