Mikhail Babich, Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, became the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC North Caucasus Resorts.

According to the charter of the organization, it is the board of directors that manages the company, including determining the main directions of the company's policies and operations.

After the authority to manage development institutions was transferred to the ministry, North Caucasus Resorts underwent a thorough review and now the costs and management system are being optimized.

To date, the ministry has adopted a systematic approach in developing the North Caucasus Federal District, focusing on developing the region's infrastructure, bringing the economy out of the shadows and attracting new residents.

Last month Babich was also elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of another district development institution, the North Caucasus Development Corporation.

Earlier it was reported that the Arkhyz and Elbrus brands would become the drivers of the region's development.
