A grand opening ceremony was held for the Russky Mintai fish processing complex in the Nadezhdinskaya Special Economic Zone in Primorsky Territory.

The new facility will produce about 160 tonnes of products daily and employ about 350 people.

The factory was opened on July 12, on the Day of Fisherman. The solemn ceremony was attended by Oleg Kozhemyako, the head of the region, who congratulated all workers of the industry with the holiday and awarded them for many years of diligent work.

The enterprise will start producing products as early as in September 2020, and the launch is scheduled for September 1.

Goods will be sold not only in our country, but also in international markets.

The new facility will consist of 9 lines, designed for production of over 150 tons of products per day, including fillets of pollack, frozen in blocks and pieces, minced meat and steaks.

It is planned to make about 20 tons of fish oil and fish flour every day, thus making the production process non-wasteful.

The company estimates that during the first decade of operation, the budgets at different levels and non-budgetary funds will receive over 7 billion rubles.
