Alexei Kalachev, director of the National Congress Bureau, became general director of the Moscow Export Center (MEC). This is reported on the website of the Roscongress Foundation.

It is noted that Kalachev has experience in major private organizations and state authorities. He also has more than 15 years of experience in communications, events and project management. In particular, the new head of the IEC has organized various exhibitions and forums.

Kalachev has been in charge of the National Congress Bureau since late autumn 2017 and now the organization is one of the leading in the industry and brings together about 100 companies. During Kalachev's time in charge, the Bureau has become a recognizable brand in the foreign market, as he has managed to bring the organization to a new level of promotion of our country abroad and has played a positive role in the development of the congress market and business tourism in Russia.

Now, as the head of the IEC, he is to improve the export development programs of the Moscow enterprises and develop new anti-crisis ways and look for the functional tools for these purposes.
