Albert Likholet, one of the group's top managers, became Global Ports' new CEO

Global Ports, one of the key operators of specialized port terminals in Russia, appointed a new CEO. Albert Likholet, a top manager of the group's companies, became him. The press service of the organization told about it.

Prior to his appointment Likholet headed the production and technological port complex "Petrolesport".

We shall remind that Vladimir Bychkov, the former CEO of Global Ports, will take over this position as of July 15.

Since July 16, Albert Likholet has taken up his duties at the new position. At the same time, he will continue to work as head of terminals.

Likholet graduated from Novorossiysk State Maritime Academy, where he studied economics and enterprise management. In 2002, he began working as a grain inspector at Control Union, as well as at marine terminals in Novorossiysk and Temryuk and at the port of Kavkaz.

He then moved to Novoroslesexport, where he rose from berth development coordinator to general director from 2003 to 2018, combining work from 2011 in a similar position at the Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group container terminal on the northeast coast of the Black Sea.

Likholet was Managing Director at Petrolesport from 2018 to 2020.
