The Southern Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Centre organised an engineering hackathon. It is an event at which experts from different areas of software development, including programmers, designers and managers, search for a solution to a given problem together for a period of time.

The hackathon started on July 22 and will end on September 30. The event is held on the information platform of the Academy of New Technologies together with Astrakhan State University with the support of SoyuzMash.

The students of institutes, universities and colleges of technical specialities and young workers of the Astrakhan region up to 25 years old can take part. During the hackathon they will solve the tasks of the actual shipbuilding centre.

At the end of the event winners will be determined who will receive monetary prizes, and those who overcome the first round will have an opportunity to undergo practical training or internship at the enterprises of the center.
