Folk Arts and Crafts Group, which belongs to Sistema JSFC, and Roscongress Foundation signed a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting and selling products of folk arts and crafts.

The parties will combine their efforts to promote Russian culture, domestic brands, companies, exporters and specialists by creating a database, producing industry catalogues and participating in Russian and international exhibitions.

It is a reminder that earlier 'Folk Arts and Crafts' became the general partner of the 'Made in Russia' national brand project supported by the Roscongress Foundation in order to form tools for promotion of the folk arts and crafts industry based on the project.

Roman Prokopyev, Director General of the group of companies, said that the parties plan to create a system of consolidated sales of the folk crafts industry and ensure their development and promotion. In his opinion, this will allow providing significant support to the manufacturers on different levels.

Alexander Stuglev, the Director of the Roscongress Foundation, noted that the Foundation is strengthening its role as a non-financial development institution. For example, the organization successfully finds initiatives where their competencies may significantly affect the implementation of projects. He reminded that the Fund has long been actively involved in the development of the arts and crafts industry and makes purchases for its own needs and the needs of partners.

"We have our own projects aimed at promoting this group of products. Within the partnership with "National arts and crafts" we certainly realize an important and necessary project for the industry, from which we expect benefit for all participants", - he said.
