Russia has developed a polymer that begins to decompose at a certain rate when it enters the soil and at the same time it nourishes plants throughout the growing season and creates protection for them.

According to scientists from Siberian Federal University who have developed this polymer, such a means of nourishing and protecting plants will replace traditional chemical treatments. They stressed that the new remedy is absolutely safe for the environment because it has an environmentally friendly composition, which includes clay, peat and birch sawdust. It is made in the form of tablets or grunches and they are buried in the ground together with the seeds or sprouts.

The new biopolymer will kill pathogenic fungi and weeds, and thanks to the small dosage in the soil, it will not reach the stems, leaves and fruits.

At the moment, the preparation is still being tested.
