Hitachi Construction Machinery Eurasia has decided to increase production in Russia. Now the company's plant near Tver will start manufacturing buckets for 6 models of medium-duty excavators.

It should be noted that this equipment for medium-class equipment with a horizontal type of adapter is particularly in demand among Russian customers. Previously, however, it was supplied to our country from Japan.

Due to the production of components in Russia, the company will be able to increase the excavators' localization level and at the same time reduce the stock levels.

A total of more than 10 million rubles has been invested in the production.

At the production site where the buckets will be assembled and welded, a gantry overhead crane and welding positioner have already been installed; the process equipment has also been designed and manufactured, and the areas and logistic zones have been improved.

The equipment will be made of Swedish and Russian structural steel, while Japanese alloys will still be used for adapters and teeth.

This year the company intends to equip about 70% of Hitachi excavators with locally produced buckets made in Russia. In the future they will gradually start to increase this figure.
