Export of Russian agricultural machinery to Bulgaria increased by 51%

Domestic enterprises that produce machinery intended for the agricultural industry, in the first six months of this year increased to 155 million rubles the volume of exports of their own products to Bulgaria. This is an increase of 51% compared to the same period in 2019.

This year, Bulgaria has mainly purchased combine harvesters and forage harvesters, reapers and balers from Russia.

A year earlier, the volume of supplies to the south-eastern European country from Russia amounted to 148 million rubles.

It should be noted that sales of domestic equipment in 2020 in all areas in the field of agricultural engineering grew by 13% in six months, up to 7 billion rubles, as compared to the last year's figures.

The annual growth rate of domestic agricultural machinery supplies outside the country since 2013 is due to the high competitiveness and high cost-effectiveness of machinery from Russia, as well as the introduction of new innovative products to the market with their adaptation to work in a variety of conditions and in difficult agricultural backgrounds.

On Monday, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reported a 5% year-on-year increase in daily milk sales by agricultural companies. Thus, as of August 3, the figure is nearly 50 thousand tons.

The agency notes that Tatarstan, Krasnodar Region and Voronezh Region were among the top performers.
