The Institute of Digital Technologies, created on the basis of the Mari State University and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, was opened in the Republic of Mari El.
The new university offers professions in engineering, electrical energy, digital economy and artificial intelligence. The institute will combine physics and mathematics and electric power engineering, as well as economics, management and finance.
The institution is expected to rank first among other institutes in this segment, Sergey Lyulin, deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, said during the opening ceremony.
