A Russian company became the first supplier of preforms to Japan

Despite the pandemic restrictions, Primorsky Europlast managed to deliver 2 batches of preforms to Japan for the production of plastic bottles.

According to the CEO of the company, Irina Rakoed, the company now makes preforms for almost all major producers of water and drinks in the Far East.

Now Europlast has its own system for efficiency assessment. The company regularly monitors how trends and demand are changing.

She noted that the market in Japan is a buyer's market, which is quite conservative. Residents of that country, she said, tend to keep what works well, they value reliability and quality and find mistakes unacceptable.

Rakoed said that the most widespread bottle format in Japan, unlike in South-East Asia or Korea, is the PCO 1810 (28 millimetres), which is also used in our country.

Now the company has started to supply to Japan preforms for blowing containers up to one liter.
