The construction of a cattle-breeding complex for 3.2 thousand cows has started in Ustyanovsky District of Arkhangelsk Region, the regional government said.

The creation of a new agricultural enterprise, which will be one of the largest in the region, is the responsibility of Ustyan Dairy Company (UMK). The new complex will occupy 57 hectares. It will be comprised of several production and industrial workshops, an administrative building, household premises, a boiler house, and a service station.

A modern milking parlor with all the necessary conditions will be provided for the young cattle.

At the moment the company has already signed a funding agreement with Rosselkhozbank, however the volume of the bank's investments will not be disclosed.

According to the plans, the complex will be built by the end of 2021, and by 2025, the complex will reach its full capacity and the production volume will be 39 thousand tons of milk a year.

Currently, preparatory work has commenced on the construction site.
