It has become known that National Media Group (NMG) will become the operator of the Netflix streaming service in Russia.

As CEO of the holding Olga Paskina said, at the moment the parties are working together on the full localization of the foreign service in the RF.

According to plans, this year Netflix will acquire an interface in Russian and the majority of TV series and movies will also be available to watch with a Russian voiceover or with subtitles in Russian. In addition, the foreign platform will be posted on the order of 1 thousand projects of domestic production, wrote "Izvestia.

Now the National Media Group is represented in the Russian online cinema market with the service more.tv. At the same time, NMG has been the Russian partner of such international brands as Discovery, Sony and Viasat for several years.

The new cooperation is expected to boost the service's presence in Russia and increase its viewership.

The Netflix streaming service is an American entertainment company and a supplier of movies and TV series. At present, its local versions already operate in more than 30 countries.
