The Chernozemye plant, which processes sunflower, will build a plant in the Terbuny special economic zone in Lipetsk Region by the end of next year to process soybeans and rapeseed.

The project will involve an investment of RUB 6.5 billion. The specified sum of money will be allocated for the second stage.

It should be noted that the sunflower processing capacity was launched in 2016 as part of the first phase of construction. Now 2 thousand tons are processed here daily.

The opening of new lines is scheduled for the last quarter of 2021. It is expected that with the opening of the enterprise more than 200 new jobs will appear. Expansion of production is planned in 3 stages.

The first stage will include the creation of an elevator, which will receive and store oilseeds with the volume of 250 thousand cubic meters. Then, a plant will be opened to process 2.7 thousand tons of soybeans or 2 thousand tons of rapeseed per day, and production of soy protein concentrates and isolates will be launched. At the last stage, elevator will be expanded even more, and a feed mill will be constructed.

Let us remind you that there are more than 10 special economic zones in the region, "Terbuny" was founded there in 2006 on the area of almost 1 thousand hectares. Now there are 6 residents who are already working there.
