SME Bank JSC provided a RUB 50 million loan to the startup Copter Express Technologies, which is a resident of Skolkovo, to boost the production of innovative automated COEX drones.

The money was granted at 8.5% for 3 years. The startup will use the funds to purchase components and materials.

As CEO of the company Oleg Panfilenok said, now there is a growing interest in quadcopters, along with the increasing use of such equipment. Two years ago, according to him, the startup produced about 1.3 thousand drones, and a year ago - over 2 thousand. As expected, by the end of this year, the company intends to reach the threshold of 3 thousand pieces.

"Copter Express Technologies" produces two types of products: educational designer programmable quadcopter, which is one of the leaders in the educational market of flying robotics, and a line of industrial autonomous drones designed for territory monitoring and delivery of lightweight cargo.

Also one of the company's developments is a station for automatic charging of drones.

The company's quadcopters are used, among others, in educational institutions, the oil and gas industry and for security companies. They are also supplied to the USA, China, Singapore, UAE and Chile.

Earlier the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the country had a highly competitive IT-industry. In this connection, he pointed to the need to develop intellectual projects and implement promising ideas as quickly as possible.
