Agricultural machinery manufacturer Rostselmash exported a batch of Sun stream row-less sunflower cutterbars to France.

This model features a set of technical solutions at the same level as the best world analogues. Due to this technology, the crop can be harvested regardless of the width of inter-row space, the direction of sowing and the characteristics of the variety.

Due to a special structure of the elevators, the machine is able to easily penetrate into the sunflower array, dividing it into separate streams and without stopping to feed the bins in the inclined chamber with a minimum length of remnant stems. In addition, the equipment can operate with any combine harvester.

It should be noted that in Europe, including France, high-yield hybrid sunflowers are often grown and their harvesting requires an increased power reserve of the cutterbar. The Sun stream with extended dividers and a pull-through roller under the knife bar proved to be suitable for Burgundian farmers in this case.

Domestic machinery has been designed with hybrids in mind and can, by cutting the baskets at the base, completely eliminate the stalks falling into the hopper. This, in turn, reduces the load on the combine and significantly increases the quality of the harvest.

According to the Russian manufacturer, in the first months of 2020 deliveries of agricultural equipment from Russia outside the country increased by 23% compared with last year's figures, in particular, exports to France increased by 20%.
