The deputy prime ministers of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) countries discussed the development of economic integration.

Thus, during the meeting, First Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development Mikhail Babich suggested developing a unified and comprehensive document in a short time frame, which would spell out step-by-step steps to remove obstacles in the EEU common market. This, he said, will provide an opportunity to see a holistic picture of the level of integration.

During the meeting, the Eurasian Economic Commission pointed out the high efficiency of the work in Russia to quickly remove three barriers in the movement of products that are subject to veterinary control - within a month.

The talks also resulted in an agreement to finalize a list of dairy products to be labeled as a measure to combat counterfeiting.

In addition, the deputy prime ministers of the Eurasian Five approved the creation of joint study groups with Indonesia and Mongolia regarding the formation of a free trade zone with the EEU.
