Agrarian holding Mirny has opened a goat milk processing plant in Adygea.

In particular, an Italian production line has been launched there. In the near future, the enterprise will produce finished products from goat's milk. Currently, the production of an assortment of 15 types of products, such as yoghurt, cheese, cottage cheese, kefir and butter, has already been tested.

Acting Prime Minister of the Republic Gennady Mitrofanov visited the factory. During the visit he familiarized himself with the equipment installed and the goods produced.

According to the company's plans, the products made from goat milk, which is hypoallergenic, will be sold to children's organizations as well.

In one shift, the company processes 12 tons of milk, and the annual volume will be approximately 6 thousand tons. After the plant reaches its design capacity, "Mirny" will become the largest producer of dairy products from goat milk in the country, and in the future - the largest in Europe.

In this and the next few years, the company intends to build two dairy complexes for 3,000 dairy cows each and produce baby food from goat milk.

After that, the project may be scaled up to 12 dairy farms of 24,000 head and start producing dried goat milk, which is in demand not only in Russia, but abroad as well.
