Russian machine-building company Pozis has started a new stage of modernization of refrigeration production. This is reported on Rostec's website.

In particular, the company has started to install new high-tech lines with a modern control interface, which will feature increased productivity.

It is noted that the enterprise is engaged in upgrading within the framework of the investment project, the cost of which is 2 billion rubles.

This year Pozis has already implemented the metal slitting and cross-cutting production lines, as well as the door casting line. In addition, a sheet bending centre was put into operation. Due to the new equipment, which has numerical control, it is possible to produce parts of higher quality and with more accurate parameters.

At the moment the enterprise is preparing to launch a new innovative automatic line for casting refrigerator cabinets.

According to Director General of the plant, Radik Hasanov, it is planned to finish commissioning works by the end of this month. He said that now the platform where the filling equipment will be installed is being installed.

As a result of modernization the production cost will be optimized and output will increase to 600,000 units per year by 2025.
