Aquaculture L will build a base for scallop, trepang and kelp farming in the Advanced Development Territory in Primorsky Territory.

The resident will invest more than RUB 140 million in the project, which will create almost 130 jobs.

Andrey Kulikov, the representative of Aquaculture L, said that the company will build a shop where they will breed scallops and sea cucumbers, organize administrative and residential premises and a boiler room, and create a warehouse where they will store gear.

At the moment scallop and trepang fry have already been planted in the fish breeding area. The company expects to harvest its first kelp in two years, and scallop and trepang - in 2024.

The company's product line will include live scallop, dried trepang and dried kelp, the latter is scheduled to go on sale in 2022.
