A new meat processing plant worth RUB 3bn has been opened in the Stavropol Region. This was reported by the regional government.

The plant was opened in the Stavropolye agro-industrial park in the village of Ulyanovka. The opening is expected to create about 330 additional jobs in the region. The capacity of the enterprise is designed to process up to 60 tonnes of meat per day.

Now there is already a shop for slaughtering cattle and deboning the meat. By the end of the year, the plant will be producing ready-to-cook meat products, including minced meat, cutlets, steaks and roast meat, as well as sausages, deli meats and canned foods.

Currently, the company has signed more than 20 contracts to sell its own products to retail chains not only in Stavropol Krai, but also in other regions of the country.
