The production of yachts has been set up in Dagestan, the first samples have already been successfully tested.

According to the CEO of Steklopast enterprise Arsen Kurbanov, two four-meter yachts have been manufactured so far and another one, already nine-meter, is nearing completion.

According to Batyr Emeev, head of the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade, the production should be a good support for development of tourism sphere in Daghestan.

The minister's press service pointed out that "Stekloplast" has a great potential in this area, and the department is ready to provide support to increase production capacities and to get the first orders.

The enterprise-manufacturer manufactures serial production, including large-size items, fiberglass containers that are used in military equipment and armament, and are also used in production of antiaircraft aircraft and cruise missiles. The company's main customer is the Russian Ministry of Defence.
