The Moscow-based company BELSI, which produces functional design furniture, participated for the second year in a row in the international fair of children's toys and goods Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg, Germany.

About Spielwarenmesse fair

Spielwarenmesse (The Nurnberg International Toy Fair) is the main exhibition of goods and toys for children, which has been held in Germany since 1949. The organizer of the event is German company Spielwarenmesse eG, which is a provider of services in the field of marketing and trade.

Every year the fair attracts toy manufacturers, specialists and buyers from all over the world. Among participants are both well-known brands and newcomers in this field.

All in all there are more than 10 thematic areas at the exhibition:

• TechtoPlay (robots, radio-controlled toys, drones, tablets, virtual reality games, educational software, microphones, headphones, 3D printers, video games, etc.);
• Toys meet Books (coloring books, books for kids and toddlers, educational and talking books, comics and manga);
• Stuffed toys, dolls, clothing and accessories;
• Fashion and accessories, home decor products, fabrics and gift sets;
• Toys and goods from wood and other natural materials;
• All for carnivals and festivals, fireworks;
• Stationery for children, school supplies, kits for creativity and hobbies;
• Models of railways, trains and other designers;
• Board and card games, educational games, puzzles, globes and maps;
• Products for children and infants;
• Products for sports, recreation and outdoor games.

In addition, the event includes ToyAward Award with several nominations, where the most popular and interesting brands for the market are highlighted, as well as Toy Business Forum, where experts in the trade and production of toys and goods for children share their professional experience and make presentations on various topics.

In 2019, about 71 thousand people from 129 countries visited the exhibition, and in 2020, 68 thousand from 131 countries, with the number of participating companies being 2,886 companies from 68 countries. The number of foreign nationals at the event exceeded 60% of the total number of visitors, most of whom were from the US and the UK. There were 33 manufacturers of children's toys from Russia at Spielwarenmesse in 2020.

BELSI KIDS

During its existence, BELSI has created an entire line of furniture for children that features innovative design and practical solutions, it includes:

• Study Egg mobile workstation (mobile monoblock on wheels, consisting of a desk and a chair);
• Eddy's desk (stackable table with multiple tops and adjustable height);
• Teddy Chair (a chair made of organic materials, the main feature of which is the adjustable height that allows to use it for more than one year);
• "Trollies" (stools on wheels that allow the child to move while sitting);
• BELSI ZOO rocking chair collection (wooden rocking chairs in the form of different animals).

BELSI ZOO collection is a series of unique rocking horses representing animals from all continents. There are a total of 7 species in the collection: horse, alpaca, giraffe, camel, kangaroo, moose and monkey. The patented design is a bestseller not only among children but also adults. All products in the collection are made from environmentally friendly materials and are TUV Rheinland certified.

Inspired by the animals of BELSI ZOO, Alexey Sibilev wrote the book "The most ... Zoo. After obtaining the copyright of the characters, the book was published and translated into seven languages.

About the company

Moscow company BELSI today is the leader in the market of functional design furniture in Russia. The brand was founded in 2011 by Alexey and Natalia Sibilev. The company's first product was a built-in ironing board, for the design of which BELSI received a patent, after which it was decided to put it into production. Then the company began to gradually expand, cooperating with beginners and promising designers, and later created a whole range of products suitable for home as well as for offices and hotels. Production

BELSI production is an area equipped with modern machines and various equipment for the manufacturing and assembling of furniture products. Most of the production processes are automated, which makes the work of the employees much easier. It is worth noting that the company uses only high quality materials and does not work with plastic.

The manufacturing process of designer furniture consists of several stages: the design office creates a model, then a prototype is made, after making all the changes in the design, the production of the finished product begins. The finished product passes the technical control department, and then it is packed for further transportation.
