The Moscow authorities have approved subsidies for 50 metropolitan companies in 2019, including Epiel, a metropolitan company, for a total amount of 71 million rubles. The subsidies received from the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow are to be used to reimburse the companies' expenses related to the sale and transportation of goods produced in the capital outside Russia.

The relevant support is provided to any Moscow exporting companies, except for representatives of the fuel and energy industry. Such companies can count on a subsidy of up to 3 million rubles from the city budget for the certification of export products, obtaining protection documents (certificates or patents) and the transportation of goods, and also a subsidy of up to 500 thousand rubles for the certification of management systems. In order to receive the appropriate support, a company must meet a number of requirements: be registered as a taxpayer in Moscow, have been a legal entity or individual entrepreneur for at least 6 months and have no tax arrears in an amount exceeding 100 thousand rubles. In addition, the company should not be subject to bankruptcy, reorganization or liquidation procedures.

In 2019, Moscow authorities received 83 applications from 64 capital companies for the relevant subsidy. According to the results of consideration by the sectoral commission of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow on financial support of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs in the field of export, innovation and human resources of industries, 69 applications from 50 Moscow enterprises were approved, with some exporters receiving several subsidies at once, including "Epiel".

Out of 69 approved applications 40 were for compensation of expenses on transportation of goods abroad, 14 applications were for compensation of expenses on certification of quality management system, 12 applications were for certification of goods, and 3 applications were for compensation of expenses on obtaining of security papers.

"In total, we approved issuing subsidies to 50 companies. Thanks to the allocated subsidies, it will be easier for Moscow companies to take their products abroad, where there is a market niche and demand for it, to increase production turnover, scale up business and improve the prestige of domestic goods", - commented the head of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development Alexey Fursin.

Today "Epiel" manufactures world-class silicon epitaxial structures of 100, 150 and 200 mm in diameter that are supplied to the largest microelectronic companies in our country - "Mikron" and "Angstrem" as well as abroad.
