Russia's largest manufacturer of excavator equipment, IZ-KARATEKS named after Korobkov, has completed a comprehensive program to upgrade its own facilities. The programme has been implemented since 2012 with the support of Gazprombank.

Thus, a gantry machine was put into commercial operation at the company, which is designed for machining the main parts of the excavator, namely the crawler frames, swivel gears and gearbox housings.

This was the final step in a major program to upgrade the company's machine park. In just eight years, the company has invested about 5 billion rubles in development. During this time, more than 30 units of machining equipment were purchased.

According to Andrey Strekalov, Executive Director of IZ-Kartex, this program helped to increase productivity and the quality of basic products. At the same time new segments have been developed, including the production of complex reducers for excavators and hoisting equipment.
