Amber Palace company became one of the participants of the international economic forum "Amber Forum" - the fourth forum of amber industry in 2019. The event was held from June 20 to 23 in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad region.

Forum participants and journalists were offered the country's only exposition of amber articles by more than 50 Russian and Baltic manufacturers, which could be purchased at the exhibition. An auction of unique nuggets weighing more than 1 kg was also held on the margins of the forum.

In 2019, the Amber Forum has become not only an exhibition and sale, but also turned into a real production and scientific complex. On the margins of the forum representatives of amber productions from all over the world had an opportunity to discuss all the pressing problems and issues of the amber industry. In particular, there were discussed such topics as digitization and versatility of amber use, not only in jewelry industry, but also, for example, in medicine, household and modern technologies.

During the event, Kaliningrad Amber Museum demonstrated an augmented reality application for a number of exhibits, while Kaliningrad Amber Works presented an initiative for end-to-end electronic marking of amber - from the stone in the quarry to the jewelry store's jewelry.

"Amber Forum 2019" was a great field for sharing experience and technologies between the participants, an atmosphere of friendliness and cooperation prevailed throughout the event. As part of the event, our company donated rare inclusions from its personal collection to the museum of Amber Factory. Once again we were convinced that we are going in the right direction, and the main conclusion of the forum for all participants was that amber is a unique mineral, which can serve a variety of purposes, including household, from an elegant tea set to medical massage pillows and bolsters," - said the company's representative.

Under influence of low temperatures and a gentle mode, pieces of amber are joined together by means of diffusion along the perimeter only. The semi-finished product is then carefully polished by hand, and connected to the silver pieces using special pins and professional glue. Thanks to such approach each product receives a unique special pattern, as well as preservation of aesthetic and physical properties of the mineral without any artificial or natural additives.
