Ceremony of laying of a capsule stone for the construction of a new plant of the Italian company K-Flex was held. A new production and warehouse complex of 24 thousand square meters will appear next year in Istra, Moscow region.

Ekaterina Zinovjeva, the Minister of investments, industry and science of the Moscow region, said the company has been working in the region for 15 years. During this time K-Flex has invested about 5 billion roubles in its own projects. The investment in the new venture, according to her, will amount to 2 billion roubles.

The plant in Istra has another plant where they are going to start making innovative thermal insulation materials.

The creation of the new production facility is connected, among other things, with the expansion of the geography of supplies. K-Flex products will be supplied to China, India, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and a number of other countries. The company will become one of the leaders among producers of technical insulation made from expanded rubber in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
